Some years I've PR'd the course and other years like last year I've hardly survived. This year I will be running the HOF marathon a few weeks before to get ready for what I hope will be a strong 26.2 in Cleveland! So far my training has been going really well so I'm excited to see how I will do!
This year is the 40th anniversary of the race so they are giving away some really cool swag including a nice commemorative key chain to all participants and as always each participant will receive a high-quality tech tee and access to the fun after party! Want to join me and race on May 21? As an official ambassador for the marathon, I have a free entry to give away to the race distance of your choice. Simply leave a comment on this post and I will randomly select a winner next Monday. Goodluck and Happy Running!
Hope you're doing well!! Good luck on your races this year! Hopefully I'll see you around soon!

ReplyDeleteright on, me too!
DeleteHoping for overcast skies and temps in the high forties! The marathoner's version of blue skies and sunshine!

ReplyDeleteGoodluck!
DeleteGood luck Pam. Interested to see how your training for the 100 goes
ReplyDeleteThanks Evan. I'm a little nervous but build up has been good so far. Just need to stay healthy!
DeleteYou are so awesome to be completing the HOF marathon weeks before Cleveland! I would love to have another shot at Cleveland this year! Unfortunately, from the "beautiful" weather from last years race, I came down with Pneumonia a few days after. I would love to do it again and walk (well maybe limp a bit) away healthy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Last year was crazy! Goodluck!
DeleteThank you!!!
Deletehey! It's so weird that I saw your photo on twitter linking to this post. You're going to think I'm crazy but a few tears ago we used to take a yoga class with Tracy at Agni. I was the other runner in the class. And then I saw you last year at the Chardon half - which was brutal but I somehow PRd. Anyways, I always feel like a freak but I really never forget a face, lol.
ReplyDeleteHi Mina, I remember you too! I hope all is well. Make sure you say hi next time you see me at a race!
DeleteCool! Again I'm hoping to win an entry for the full so I'll have a good excuse to go back to Cleveland. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGoodluck John!
DeleteI'm hoping for a BQ (and maybe a PR) at Cleveland this year! Is it too early to be thinking about perfect racing weather?!
ReplyDeleteYes ma'am, BQ and a PR would be sweet! Then we can have post race celebratory hoppy drinks! xo!
DeleteI wish you the best this training season!!! Have fun. I am hoping to win so I can run the Cleveland Half. It will be my third time and I'd love to PR. Thanks for the giveaway chance.
ReplyDeleteThank you. You as well! Goodluck and happy running :)
DeleteI would love to get revenge for last years cruel weather joke. Love the Cleveland Marathon! Good luck this year!
ReplyDeleteI hear you! I need revenge myself. Goodluck!
DeleteI will be running the HOF as well, couldn't pass up the awesome deal! The swag they have (medal & blanket) looks pretty cool too.
ReplyDeleteThe race in Cleveland last year was a bit rough...It was on my birthday and was not a very nice present!
Good luck with your training and in both of your spring races. Three weeks between the two should be easy for an experienced athlete like yourself!
Awesome, have you run HOF before? I am looking forward to it. Goodluck with your training also!
DeleteI've never run HOF, but heard it was flat. I believe the marathon is a double loop!
DeleteEeeek! Fingers crossed fingers crossed fingers crossed!!! :) :) I've been DYING to run cleveland, but after losing my job in December of 2015, funds for races have been limited! :( So I've been entering like crazy trying to win ONE of the entries lol!!
ReplyDeleteGoodluck lady! getting ready to do the drawing now!
